Be Okay Being You

One of my favorite things about starting this blog has been all the women who I have talked with about life and how they view things. Every one of us is different and amazing and strong and weak and so completely incomparable.
Sometimes I think we forget this simple truth on a day-to-day basis.

I recently helped out with two different weddings for my sisters. It was so interesting how the weddings were completely different and completely wonderful and beautiful. I loved them both for entirely different reasons.

When I truly became comfortable with being me, it was simple to transfer that confidence into my decisions with how I run my days and my task list. I love being able to play to my strengths and ignore whatever does not work for me.

2 suggestions to help you move towards this comfortable place:

1) Figure out what makes you tick. If you do not know exactly how you feel and think about daily situations it may be helpful for you to take a few or several personality tests or talk things out with a friend who is more intuitive and pays attention to those types of things.

2) Be okay to be you. No matter what is suggested, from parenting tips to organizing ideas, you are the one who knows you best. Be okay to take the points that work for you and ignore the rest.

Take some time to figure out what makes you happy and what makes you work. We all have different strengths and weaknesses and it is important to understand ourselves in order to have a happy and fulfilled life.

Be okay being you.
