When I started this blog I set a goal to write twice a week and post twice a week. It has been a good amount for me and I was able to keep up with the posts while still feeling like I was pushing myself. This summer there are some changes in my extended family: my two youngest sisters are getting married and that has meant I am involved. And it has been so great! And I am so excited for both my sisters and their wonderful spouses (seriously, I really like both of those guys). Both of the weddings take place 500 miles from where I live, however, and that means a lot of traveling back and forth, and two weddings to get ready for. It is a summer full of memories and family, for sure!
What I am getting to in telling this however, is that sometimes we have to adjust and reevaluate our goals and expectations when things in life occur.
I took my computer in the car and typed up a few posts while my husband drove. I was reminded to post my blogs by my amazing app that kept me on track, despite barely knowing what day it was and helping with things for both weddings.
However, there just came a day when I was too tired to care.
That's right. I just could not care about anything except catching up on sleep and doing anything that was not on my task list of things to keep me on track. And so, I checked it off my task list, knowing it would come back around today. And while I still am not done with wedding things and we still have another trip to make, I knew I just needed a few days rest and not caring too much to get me back on track again.
So, today, I am blogging. And I am posting. And I love it.
And it is okay to be okay to change the plan a little to be able to get back on track faster.
Hope your today is wonderful!
