For my kids, the end of the school year is quickly approaching. It feels as though every day brings emails, notes, permission slips to sign, texts and lists of things to send in to the school. How do you keep track of all the things and stuff and still feel like you have your head at the end of the day?
Write things down!
It does not matter how small the note, when you write it down you are helping your brain remember what is coming up and also giving yourself a safety cushion for remembering when days are squishing together and filling up faster than you can sort everything out. Writing down a note to go buy that item you signed up for AND another note for when to send it in, helps you cover the bases and won't see you digging through a pile of papers looking for the date something is due.
Write it down and give yourself a chance to take a deep breath and forget about those tasks until they are needed. Discover the difference of writing things down during this busy month of school.
