Keep Promises Made To Yourself

It is easy to stay on top of things and to feel like you are on track with your goals and plans for about the first 3 days of a change. The occasional stretch of on track time will last a few weeks or even months, but eventually something will come up that makes the original plan flop....even just a little. If your usual reaction to those times is to scrap the whole plan and just give up, you will never realize your goals or figure out how to create that life that you really desire because you just keep giving in to the ease of doing nothing.

Make a plan for your time. Everything else will creep in unless you make a plan. When distractions and emergencies come up, simply decide what will come first. Ninety-nine percent of the time you can choose to stick to your plan - at least loosely - and push through those distractions. The more you practice ignoring things that look more appealing in the moment, the easier it becomes.

Remember that implementing small changes consistently will have more effect and lasting change than overhauling every area of your life in two days and not sticking with any of it.
Keep your promises to yourself and be consistent.
