Because we are human and have crazy human days, sometimes we do need to reevaluate and change things. If we have a list of things we want to do that are important to us (a task list), it is easier to take a look at how the day is turning, and decide which things need our attention or if those need to be moved to another day or can just be pushed out of our minds until they come back around on the rotation we set. When crisis is over, it is easier to pick up your list and carry on.
Yesterday I had way more to get done than hours in the day. Instead of being overwhelmed, it was easier to take a minute to look at everything and how much energy I had and decide which things needed to get done and what needed to be put off for a week or two. And that is the best reason for having a rotating task list - things come back up automatically and I do not have to worry about forgetting something.
This week you can push through and also evaluate your days and energy and situation and let things go without guilt or stress. It's your life. Create it and direct where your focus needs to be.
