Schedule Time For You

If you are finding your days packed with to-dos and you never feel like there is time to breathe, try this: schedule time on the calendar for you. No one else will protect this time - you have to make it happen. 
I have a set day that I protect some time for me on every week, but you can plan for what works for you. The point isn't that you have a set day or some set hours, unless that works for you. The point is that you save at least a few minutes for you to do something that feeds you every week. Or every day. Whatever schedule works for you. 
This is not time that you spend on FB or Pinterest - this is scheduled time that you spend doing something that makes you truly happy and that feeds your soul. It doesn't matter if it's a hike, writing, reading, shopping for yourself without others, walking or napping, the point is that you schedule in some time for you and honor that time. 
Sit down and schedule that time now. What will you schedule that will enhance your life today?
