Stick To Your Scheduled Days

One thing that helped me when I was trying to figure out a set schedule and trying to fit everything into life week after week was to have set days.
It almost seems like you would have more freedom and be less stressed if you could just plug things into any day you feel like, but the opposite is true. When you stick to your scheduled days week after week, your brain does the job of getting you ready for those chores, you naturally get more done because you are focusing on one set of chores, and you don't have to think about when you might feel like getting to certain tasks. It is built in and you know that on Monday you will be doing laundry, so you just wake up and jump in.

If you are on the fence, or just don't believe that this simple step - keeping like items on the same day - really does give you a wonderful surprise, plan out your chores into main days of the week and stick to that schedule for at least 6 months. I promise you'll see a huge difference in your ability to get to things that are important to you and you'll have more time for family and connecting.
