In this day of so much to do and plenty of devices and lights and more things to do, it can be tricky to get enough sleep. We all know our cells repair during sleep and that we cannot function on little sleep for very long, so why do we fight getting enough sleep?
Take things off your list if you cannot get enough sleep. Prioritize your night so you can prioritize you. If you need 5 minutes to fall into bed, plan for that. If you need 30 or 50 minutes, make sure you plan for that time and start getting yourself ready for bed so you can get enough sleep.
Paying attention to what your body needs and taking care of yourself is how you will function at higher levels during the day and be there for those times when people really need you.
