Services That Cater To You

Sometimes there truly is not enough time to fit everything in. Sometimes we just need some extra help to feel like we have more time to do the things that matter most to us. Sometimes we just need something easier in our day.
Here are a few services I have found over the years:

* Grocery pick up - one of our local stores here has a service where you buy the groceries online, choose a pick up time and just text when you pull into the designated parking space. They bring your groceries out to your car and all you had to do was order online and show up when it works for you. Having to set aside about 5 minutes to pick up groceries is amazing and incredibly helpful with children in tow. There is a $2 fee, but I have always been given a coupon that covers that amount, and more. And I would gladly pay $2 for this beautiful service.
(I am so addicted to this service that I do not know if I will ever stop using it!)

* Additionally, Walmart has recently started a similar program. I wish the Walmart nearest me offered this service, but it is still worth driving an extra 15 minutes to not have to go into Walmart and shop for those things I need - especially this summer with 4 children in tow. I was even able to shop the back-to-school ads and get the same deals and prices as if I was in the store. If you purchase $50 or more, the service is free. Pretty sweet!

* Dry cleaning drop off and pick up is pretty annoying to me. I discovered a place here in town that does free pick up and delivery right from and to my porch. All I do is make a phone call. It may be worth it to call around.

* I love banking with an app where you can take a picture of a check and deposit the funds with a few clicks on the phone. A few years ago our bank stopped doing that, but since they offered any form of an interest rate, we wanted to stay with them. Now I always use the drive thru and while I miss the ease of the app (and would go back to it in a heart beat), any errand that I do not actually leave my car is still wonderful.

* We have a Little Caesar's near us that has a drive thru. That drive thru helps it win nearly every time when I just do not want to unbuckle everyone.

* We use a pharmacy with a drive thru. Half the time you need a pharmacy you do not want to drag the child or yourself through the store. They will even sell us a few pain meds and things we need through the window.

It does not have to be big things, but all these little helps and tricks add up to huge help and relief in my life. Especially each summer as the kids go shopping with me for the first time all year, it is a shock to all of us. It is helpful to know that there are things out there for parents and working women that can help make things a little easier. Take advantage of those things that offer help and support and utilize the services that do work for you.

What services do you use that have been the most helpful?
